Babies, Babies, Babies....

In the last year Rising Phoenix members have had a total of 4 babies added to the family and the newest baby has come from our very own Jade.  She had a healthy baby boy and he is beautiful and perfect.

It is interesting that I have seen Luisah Teish recently and the last three times we have talked she has either asked me whether I am pregnant or planning a baby.  On Saturday she said that I have a lot of baby energy around me and when she found out we were not trying she asked if someone in my coven was pregnant.  LOL, that would be yes!!

New Years, logo and tradition

Happy New Years. 2012 is shaping up to be an interesting year that is full of promise and hopefully full of open doors. The 2011 year has been rewarding and yet very challenging for many people, so the coming year holds a lot of promise for change and forward movement. Tonight I was with the family here in Northern California and my son said to me that he "loves the tradition of apple cider on New Years" and I thought about how we introduce tradition to our families with all the things we do that are memorable and repetative. That it very exciting and it made me smile to think that many of the things that Rising Phoenix has stood by, tradition and values, have made it to the level of my kid. He told me tonight he was going to teach his kids about Rising Phoenix Tradition and I smiled. With that, there is a new logo and I had some shirts and bags printed with the logo to give to my immediate family memebers for the holidays. They came out great and I will post some pictures soon. May everyone enjoy this new year as it comes into focus and plant the seeds for many fruitful and memorable exchanges.
